Nicole Apted, MA, LPC

My journey into therapy began with a deep curiosity about people and a desire to understand what shapes us. I believe that at our core, we all seek acceptance, understanding, and connection—and sometimes life’s challenges make that journey more difficult. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from all walks of life, helping them uncover their unique stories and navigate life’s complexities.

I have been in the mental health field since 2018 and I specialize in working with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and trauma. I take a person-centered and relational approach, focusing on building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to express yourself and explore difficult emotions. My approach is designed to help you show up authentically in your life and face challenges with resilience, knowing that you have the strength winthin you to heal and grow. My goal is to help you navigate these complexities by exploring the relationship between your life experiences, emotional state, and physical health, so you can find healing and balance.

I also practice Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process intense emotional experiences, particularly trauma. EMDR is a powerful tool for reducing emotional distress and facilitating healing, and I’m proud to offer it to clients who may benefit from this approach.
